As the co-founder and CEO of Joyport, Tony led the “Team of Five” and developed their first graphical web-based game – Kingory in 2007. The game attracted 10 million players in only 6 months and has been growing its user base ever since. Pocketing more than 10 awards since its release, Kingory became the unisputed leader of its genre. Tony was recognized in the business by winning the “Internet Elites in China” award in 2008 and named “Pioneer of Games and Communities” in 2009. His great sense of humor and easy-going personality make him, arguably, the most popular guy in the company.
Being extremely entrepreneurial, Tony left UT Starcomm after working there for a year and took the plunge into the start-up world. In 2004, he started Booqio Technologies and turned it into one of the leading mobile game companies in China. His name was on the list of the “50 most influential people of mobile game business in China” in 2006. Tony has a B.S. degree from Zhejiang University.

In Joyport, we simply refer to him as “the genius”. John Co-founded Joyport with Tony Chen in 2007 and took the role of Chief Architect of Kingory. He is responsible for leading the R&D team and overall product development. Under his direction, the R&D team has been able to deliver one game after another with exceptional innovations and high quality.
John is very knowledgeable on the alignment of emerging technologies to create new gaming experience. He is also a strong advocate of innovation-driven business and has been working with the team to have several technical breakthroughs in each product.
John enjoys learning about new technologies and fiddling with the latest cutting-edge gadgets. He served as Chief Technology Officer at Booqio Technologies before he co-founded Joyport and he holds a B.Sc. degree from Zhejiang University.

As a member of the “Team of Five”, Chelsea has been wearing multiple hats in the company since the beginning. In the early days, she was involved in almost every aspect of Joyport’s daily operation, including game design, branding, marketing, game operating, and business development. Now holding the title of Chief Operating Officer, Chelsea oversees the infrastructure of business operations and development as well as sales.
Chelsea has many years of experience in marketing and business development prior to Joyport. She also has been involved in several start-ups since she was in college. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys music and painting. On a Saturday afternoon, she can be found writing songs on her Yamaha piano.
Chelsea holds a MA degree in International Economics and Business from Nanjing University.
